National Brand Awareness and B2B Engagement

THE CHALLENGE

The PYBAR brand was well known in the eastern states but with a large pipeline of underground projects in WA, the company was in need of a profile raising campaign  to reposition it as having national capability.

 The Solution

Collaborating with PYBAR’s senior leadership team, Brand One undertook a strategic discovery process in order to formulate a marketing and communications strategy. Clarification of the company’s vision, mission and values were performed and a strategic marketing plan was created with clear budgets, responsibilities and calendars of activities.

With an integrated plan and clear communications objective in place, a mix of strategies were used to help reposition the brand.

Identifying a deliverable USP and critical market influencers, the company’s key messages were built alongside the target audience into the strategy.

The Result

PYBAR won multiple WA tenders over a number of years and was awarded Mining Contractor of the Year in 2014 by the Australian Mining Prospect Awards. Three years after the strategy was implemented, the majority of PYBAR’s projects were in WA. They had formed a strategic partnership with a university mining alumni and had elevated itself as an industry thought leader.
